C-RID Product Feature

Identification Code for Compliant Products of Drones

Drones equipped with Remote ID and capable of broadcasting have become a regulatory requirement in countries and regions such as China, the European Union, and the United States. C-RID is designed based on Chinese standards (GB/T 41300-2022, GB42590-2023, “Unique Product Identification Code for Civil Unmanned Aircraft”), EU standards (prEN 4709-002 standard), and ASTM F3411 − 22a standard, ensuring compatibility with remote ID regulations in multiple regions.

C-RID Remote ID Feature: Identification Code for Compliant Products of Drones
Domestic Dual-Core MCU Break through Performance Boundaries

C-RID adopts high-performance Xtensa® 32-bit LX7 dual-core processor with a main frequency of 240 MHz, and is built-in with 512 KB SRAM and 384 KB ROM storage space, enabling smoother operation, faster response and more stable data transmission.

C-RID Remote ID Feature: Domestic Dual-Core MCU Break through Performance Boundaries
Long-Range Broadcast Wider Coverage

It is equipped with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11b/g/n) and Bluetooth® 5 (LE), enabling long-range broadcasting with wider coverage and safer flight.

C-RID Remote ID Feature: Long-Range Broadcast Wider Coverage
Lightweight Design Compact Size

C-RID is equipped with dedicated M2.5 fixing hole. It has a body weighing only 5.5g, making it lightweight and compact. It can be flexibly fixed by 3M adhesive or screws, ensuring its easy installation.

C-RID Remote ID Feature: Lightweight Design Compact Size
Support DroneCAN Bus and UART Serial Communication

The DroneCAN bus has a strong anti-interference ability and high transmission rate. It can be multiplexed by multiple devices, reducing the occupation of the limited UART serials ports. The UART serial ports are convenient for being compatible with devices that haven’t supported the DroneCAN protocol yet.

C-RID Remote ID Feature: Support DroneCAN Bus and UART Serial Communication
Cooperate with LGC to Set and Analyze Broadcast Data

It can receive low-altitude data in all dimensions, accurately locate and identify key flight data such as the position of drones, and realize the real-time monitoring of dynamic information of drones in the region.

C-RID Remote ID Feature: Cooperate with LGC to Set and Analyze Broadcast Data
Security Reinforcement and Defense Enhancement

When used in conjunction with CUAV controllers, C-RID can realize the tamper resistance and broadcasting of the drone unique product identification codes, ensuring the security of data transmission and providing a strong guarantee for drone’s compliant flight and safe application.

C-RID Remote ID Feature: Security Reinforcement and Defense Enhancement
ArduRemoteID Standard Hardware Compatible with ArduPilot and PX4

As a cooperation partner of ArduPilot, ArduPilot has adopted C-RID as the technical verification platform to develop the ArduRemoteID technology solution to ensure the compatibility of hardware and software. The firmware code of C-RID is hosted in the ArduPilot codebase, enabling manufacturers worldwide to perform targeted secondary optimization and development. C-RID supports ArduPilot and PX4.
