- WIFI indicator light: 5G WIFI indicator light, the LED flashes when WIFI is enabled, and when it is always on, it means entering the BOOT system
- System indicator: system indicator (yellow, always on for boot status (USB indicator is always on)/system normal operation status; blinking for system startup).
Hardware connection
Install LBA3 BASE
- Use a tripod to elevate the LBA3 BASE, use M4*8 screws to fix the quick release to the LBA3 BASE, and then install the quick release into the fixing rod.
- Install the antenna with the Type N interface on the LBA3 BASE.
Note
If the antenna is not installed to start the device, it may cause irreparable damage; please install the antenna before connecting the power supply; the tripod needs to be purchased by yourself, and a fixed rod with a diameter of 20~25mm is supported
Power supply
1. Connect the POE power distribution module to Utility Power to provide power to the LBA3 base station.
2. Power bank/battery (DC) power supply; supports 20~60V.
AAT(Automatic tracking antenna)
Install the LW140/800 and AG module
- Insert the matching MCX feeder into the LW antenna interface, install the antenna to the unmanned systems, and install the antenna vertically upward or downward
- Connect the flight controller (TELEM1/2) to the AG DATE interface (AG-FC Cable)
- Connect the USB port of LW140/800 and the AG gateway (USB cable)
- LW140/800 Ethernet interface is connected to AG gateway LAN0 interface (ETH-LAN0)
- Network port camera or ROS connected to AG gateway LAN1/LAN4
Note
The IP camera or ROS device needs to be in the same network frequency band as the LBA link (the IP address is 192.168.10.X and the IP address cannot conflict with other devices); you can follow the tutorial provided by the supplier or consult a technical engineer.
First time use
1. Connect to the computer
- Wired broadband
Connect the LBA BASE to the computer with a network cable, and start the LBA BASE; in DHCP (Network Connection>Internet Protocol Version 4) is set to obtain an IP automatically, and the computer will automatically recognize the LBA BASE network)
- WIFI
The LBA3 BASE WIFI name is LBA3_5G_xxxxxx (5G WIFI) and LBA3_xxxxxx
LW140/800 WiFI name is LBA3_AG_xxxxxx, and the default connection password is 12345678
2. Connect the ground station
Take QGroundControl as an example
- New link in app settings (application settings>Comm links>add)
- Enter link name
- Select the connection type as TCP
- Enter AG gateway/LBA3 BASE IP
- Set the port to “5760” (according to the setting) and click “OK”
- Select a new connection and click “connect”
2. Display video and control commands
Display the video, use the program software provided by the supplier, and follow the supplier’s tutorial to set up the connection
- Take a camera as an example
Enter the RTSP video stream address in the software: rtsp://192.168.10.119:554 (according to the actual IP setting of the camera, 192.168.10 is the network segment); establish a TCP connection, and control the pan/tilt and camera through the software.

LBA3 Quick Configuration Guide
This chapter mainly introduces the quick configuration of LBA3 based on the WEB platform.
Tip
The LBA3 link setting and firmware upgrade can be operated through the WEB platform; the LBA3 system has been preset at the factory, plug and play; for your better experience, there is no need to modify the settings, please do not modify the settings. After modifying the settings and upgrading the system, the configuration of the AG module of the air terminal may not be consistent with that of the LAB3 base station and communication cannot be established, so you can configure it through the WIFI connected to the AG module or configure the AG module first.
Log in to the Web
- Method 1: After connecting the LBA base station to the computer (using a network cable), enter the air terminal (192.168.10.2) / base station IP (192.168.10.1) in the browser to enter the WEB platform (user name root, password is empty)
- Method 2: Connect LW140/800WIFI and LBA BASE (first use > connect to computer), enter LW140/800 (192.168.58.1)/LBA BASE IP address (192.168.10.1) in the browser to enter the WEB platform (username root, password is empty).
Note
The IP address of accessing LW140/800 WEB through LBA3 BASE(192.168.10.2), and the IP address of accessing WEB through LW140/800 WIFI(192.168.58.1); the two are the same interface, and the WIFI network segment is different.
System pairing
Tip
LBA3 BASE and LW140/800 have the same access key to connect.
You can set the access key in Network>Radio>Radio info>Radio Config.
Modify serial port data format (baud rate/service port)
The default baud rate of the system serial port is 57600; you can modify the corresponding parameters in the device WEB management > Service >ser2net.
You should also set the radio baud rate in Network > Radio > Radio Info.
Tip
The radio baud rate, system baud rate and flight controller serial port baud rate should be the same.
Point-to-multipoint communication setup
It needs to modify the AG gateway and radio IP (all devices in the same LAN need to be in the same network frequency band, and the IP is unique)
Modify system IP address
- Log in to AG (192.168.10.2 or 192.168.58.1) or LBA3 BASE (192.168.10.1) WEB management platform
- Set the IPv4 address in Network > Interfaces > LAN > Edit > General Settings.
Tip
It is recommended to change it to the range of 192.168.10.3~192.168.10.20, and the device needs to be restarted after saving. After modification, you will need to log in to the WEB platform with the new IP address.
Modify radio IP
Write the IP address in Network > Radio > Radio Info > Radio Config > IP Address; the default is 192.168.10.10X.
Tip
It is recommended to modify it within the range of 192.168.10.103~192.168.10.120.
Repeater mode
LBA3 supports first-level relay, and the central node is set as the relay terminal (please contact technical personnel for the setting method).
Modify WIFI settings
Enter the device WEB “Network” > Wireless >Device configuration>general setup, you can modify the WIFI name and password, etc.
Upgrade firmware
Web management platform > system > Backup/Flash Firmware > Flash operations firmware interface to upgrade the system.
- Flash IMAGE
- Click “BROWAE” to load the firmware file, then “UPLOAD”
- If no configuration needs to be updated, select “Keep the current configuration”, click “Continue,” and wait for the firmware to be flashed.
